Founder/President
Hello and thank you for visiting our website!
Unique Caring Opportunities Inc. was birthed in 2005 as a solo agency, providing personal care assistance and companion services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. After several years as business began to grow, Mrs. Adriane Filer had a vision to start a 24-hour housing opportunity within the agency.
That vision has now created several homes, where we currently house individuals with developmental disabilities. Unique Caring Opportunities Inc has given opportunities and hope to residents over the years. These opportunities have added great meaningful experiences to the lives of so many. This is the reason why the organization has continued to grow and remain successful over the years.
Mrs. Filer has a heart for the residents and enjoys working with others who share the same heart for the work!

Our Mission
The mission of Unique Caring Opportunities Inc is to provide quality supportive services that are unique to the needs of persons with developmental disabilities.
In addition, Unique Caring Opportunities Inc will provide support and assistance to the families and/or guardians of those being served through the Home and Community Based Service Medicaid Waiver and Family Supported Living Waiver.
We assist individuals served by both the HCBS Medicaid Waiver and the Family Supported Living Waiver to achieve a prosperous and fulfilling life within the community — and to become more independent in making choices that pertain to and impact their life.
